SXSW 2012 with FIDLAR, Guards, Superhumanoids +

For our annual SXSW show, Black/White Iris partnered with our friends at Foam Magazine and Dos Equis to bring an amazing lineup to the Parkside.

Sundress got us started with their gauzy dream pop, followed by Harriet with their classic West Coast style. Superhumanoids absolutely crushed their set with a bunch of songs from their in-progress LP, while Guards played maybe one of their best sets ever and managed to set off the smoke alarm…which was amazingly in key with almost all of their songs.

Slowdance’s sexy electro-pop came next and then we capped it all off with everyone’s favorite LA punk band FIDLAR, who turned the party into a sweaty, dancing mess of the best kind.
